The former Soundcity VJ who recently joined the South Africa based music station, Channel O as a VJ has a weird fashion sense which has over time become his trademark. From his crazy hairstyles to his out-of-the-world boots, Denrele is quite a handful!
yWhile some think he has some sort of mental disorder, a closer look at Denrele shows that he is just a hyperactive guy with a crazy imagination. And he is very good at what he does. He is unarguably one of Africa’s best red carpet hosts and VJs.
His ‘craziness’ dates back to his childhood days when he would raid his father’s wardrobe and cut off sleeves of his father’s shirts and suits. Even in his university days, he wore weird, head-turning clothes to lectures rooms!
Denrele recently tweeted: “If y’al think I’m currently eccentric, this is how I used to dress to class in my Unilag days (2000-2004). I don mellow*”
