Before Qslimz could utilize her talents for her own solo endeavors, the Femcee, writer, and songwriter Inyang Ukpong wrote a slew of songs, for some underground artist as part of the Kantata Entertainment and Productions team also known as Kantata Republic. The dynamic, versatile Nigerian Artiste is based in the United States. Addicted to TV talent shows like Star Search and Showtime at the Apollo, she was already plotting out her career in music at age 19. Even though her Father had bought her a piano to encourage those talents, she mainly wanted to perform; therefore, Qslimz converted those sessions into writing lessons. After Qslimz graduated from high school, she managed to continue juggling all these tasks when she enrolled at Eastern Michigan University in Michigan. In her mid- to late teens, she jump-started her career as a DJ and songwriter, working under Scurvy Nations in Ann Arbor Michigan and Recording samples of her work with “Big Creep” or Scurvy Nations.

She eventually stopped Deejaying and began working more with the lyrics. Juggling between work, school and her music put a great demand on her, especially doing it on her own with no financial support of any sort. But as luck would have it, she kept pushing disregarding the Nay Sayers. She has worked with Guss, a renowned producer who produces tracks for Rappers Kevin Gates, Lil Boosie in Baton Rouge, LA.

In 2011 She Opened for Timaya during the 51st Nigerian Independence Celebration in Richardson Texas, and also April 2nd of 2012 for Timaya’s Dem Mama Soldiers album launch in Dallas Texas.
Qslimz now owns a company Kantata Media Group Inc. A media outlet geared to showcasing Talents of all sort in the Music/Film Industry.

She is set to drop her Fahrenheit/Celsius Mix tapes, a compiling songs that are unfamiliar, unique, collaborations with different artists, with an uncategorized genre and yet exceptional and imitable.
