Barely a little over a year after Playtown Entertainment released Playbuoy's hit single playboy ft. Brymo, Playbuoy returns with a new name and a much more matured style. Playbuoy now prefers to be referred to simply as P.L.A.Y.
His return didn't just come with a new name, it also comes with 2 Brand New Singles off his joint rap album with Terry Tha Rapman scheduled for release this December.
P.L.A.Y & Terry got together to record a song and ended up recording an album. This album is an 8 tracker and will feature the likes of Flowsick, YQ, Overdoze, Pherosiouz etc. It also features production from T-Frizzle, Fliptyce, Jusa Dementor (Zimbabwe), Major 1 etc.
ABOUT P.L.A.Y
P.L.A.Y's music/showbiz history can be traced to his elementary/primary school days, but he went professional in 2002 after joining a group of lyricists called Legion of Lyricists.
He later went solo in 2005.
P.L.A.Y was introduced to the mainstream in 2006 with a video to his very first single: "We've got the game" which featured 2shotz and was directed by Ace video/film maker DJ Tee. Back then in 2006 he went with stage name XTREEM. P.L.A.Y who prefers to be regarded as a "Show business man" rather than an artiste, has made his mark in the Nigerian music business and has established himself as an entertainment brand executive.
