Onamaero Ukoli was born in Benin city and is the 3rd of five children. She is fromn Delta state Nigeria, graduated from Delta state university Abraka in 2006. Maero's early years were influnced by good music, what she refers as real music. Maero's distinguishing features are her sultry powerful voice and soulful sounds which she has shown in her first debut single titled "BREAK FREE" a song that has been discribed asas soulful and uplifting by many and would create a storm in the Nigerian music industry.
