ROADEX the Godfather aka Lasgidi's Golden Child is hands down the most hardworking Nigerian independent artist who now enters the musical affray with gifted honey vocals and tight lyrical wordplay. Meet Rasaq Olawale Isiaq popularily known as ROADEX aka Lasgidi Golden Child... a native of Ogun State Nigeria, Yewa South. Spending the last 14 months honing his musical skills travelling to Europe, USA and Japan for a selection of live shows and performances he returned back to Nigeria late 2012 with a plethora of great music ready for the world to hear. He just featured on Sham Pain's 'Call Me Bo$$' (Lasgidi Oba Remix) which was streamed more than 2,700 times in just 6 days!

Roadex was musically influenced by the Nigerian greats such as Fela Kuti, Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey & King Sunny Ade. This left a blueprint of what this sought after artist has to offer. Turning down several record label and management offers while in Nigeria he eventually signed with gRock Records Intl. a Nigerian owned record label based in USA which has worldwide distribution and marketing channels with a heavy knowledge of the Nigerian market. Roadex added "while doing some shows in USA, I was approached by the CEO of gRock Records Intl. (Mr. Femi Olu) and our synergy was immediate, I just knew this was the label to sign with and the rest is history..." Within 2 weeks of signing to the new record label Roadex found himself performing live on stage in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Croatia & Japan.

Attending A.U.D Comprehensive College in Ota, Ogun State; Roadex obtained a Diploma in Computer Engineering, thus enabling him to gain successful admission into Lagos State University where he studied Mass Communication. After gaining entry he later was forced to switch to a part-time study schedule in order to be able to multi-task between his studies and his now rapidly exploding music career.

He developed his musical skills by listening to an assortment of music styles ever since his elementary school days. He was exposed to international acts from the genres of Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Reggae & Jazz. The beauty of this is he now has diversified his style across all genres, he is truly destined to be a superstar. In 2006 Roadex dropped the anthem 'Osi Gini'' much to critical acclaim, the single was fully supported by Nigerian radio, DJs and Internet radio stations alike, some days it cumulatively got over 40 spins!

Roadex has graced the stage and opened live shows for top Nigerian and foreign acts, now with this love and experience he has embarked on his international solo career in full force and his lead single "Titi n Mafide" (Till I Come) is a fitting song for his first ever official single release on his new label, gRock Records Intl. Roadex said 'Titi n Mafide' is a song which will get people dancing no matter what...' the early response to the song has been tremendous. Watch out... Roadex is here to stay because his music ability, solid live performances and growing fanbase says so, he is truly the Lasgidi Golden Child!
