Rapper/singer/songwriter Black Magic has reportedly parted ways with Syndik8 Records fronted by Lynxxx. According to THE NET, Black Magic left the imprint because the record contract Lynxxx offered him wasn't what he wanted.
'Sources tell us that both parties fell out as Blackmagic (fondly called Ejay) decided to walk away from the label when C.E.O Chukie ‘Lynxxx’ Edozien offered Blackmagic a contract which stated he would be signed JUST as an artiste on the label, with no executive stake.

We learnt that Ejay wasn’t satisfied with the offer and wanted to be a part owner of the label.
Sources say the rapper who reportedly played an integral role in building Syndik8 Records felt he was getting the lower end of the stick. Lynxxx, according to sources familiar with the situation, disagreed with the rapper. And the pair fell out.'
This makes much sense when you remember that Black Magic was missing from the Syndik8 Jimmy Jatt Jump Off Freestyle session and the Eziokwu video which featured all members of the Syndik8 family.
Black Magic is the man behind the hit song 'Repete' and is one-half of the rap duo Three Wise Men with Syndik8 producer Ikon.
