A snippet of Oya Na remix, a collaboration between Nigerian multi-genre
singer Slim Burna and Ugandan R&B Fusion artist Nick Nola produced by one
of Uganda's top producers, Washington has materialised.
The 90 second preview features Slim Burna's vocals from the original
version of the song, while Nola adds his lively R&B flow and rhythm to the
mix.
The news of Nick Nola and Slim Burna working together on the song first
broke in November of 2012 although no set release date was revealed at the
time.
The full version of Oya Na Remix can be found on Nick Nola's debut album
"Honey Moon" which features engineers and producers from around
Africa and the world.
Slim Burna released his free mixtape "I'm On Fire" weeks ago,
which went on to take the third spot on Music Of Africa Top 10 Mixtapes after
being downloaded over 5,000 times on the site alone, not including the number
of times it was downloaded on other music websites. The I'm On Fire project is
arguably the most successful mixtape ever released from a Port Harcourt artist
to date.
