Another day, another award. Last night in Ghana, Wizkid won the 'African Artiste of the Year' award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He knocked off fellow nominees D' Banj, Davido, P Square, Flavour and Iyanya to pick up the plaque.
While Wizzy won the award, the talk of the night was the Ghanaian duo R2Bees who took home 6 awards at the Ghana Music Awards. They won the 'Song of the year’, ‘Hiplife song of the year’, ‘Hiplife/Hiphop artiste of the year’, ‘Best group of the year’, ‘Hiplife song of the year’ and ‘Artiste of the year’ categories.
