Davido’s gangster video, “Gobe” is number one for the second week running in the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10. The upbeat hit with its entertaining video gangster storyline continues to fill dance floors across the nation.
Rhythm FM OAP Onome “BigTyme” Oyaide (@TheBigtyme) is the larger-than-life celebrity guest joining Ehis (@SpecialSlim) in the Top 10 studio to dissect this week’s chart and to share the latest
music news.
Settled in at number 2 is “Asiko” by Darey feat Ice Prince and Jozi while Kcee’s “Limpopo” moves into the number 3 slot (up two places from number 5). Other movers and shakers this week include Wande Cole – up two places to number 7 with “Azonto”, while Iyanya’s “Sexy Mama” moves up one slot from 6 to 5. Flavour’s “Chinny” is this week’s only new entry at number 10, while chart regular 2Face is in the number 8 position for the third week running with “Dance Floor”. Former number
one Banky W’s “Yes/No” makes a rapid exit, leaving the top 10 altogether.
This week’s Official Naija Top 10 premiered on the MTV Base block on NTA on Friday 14 June, and can be seen on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) on Tuesday 18 June @22.00 WAT, on AIT on Tuesday 18 June @ 21.30 WAT, and on STV on Thursday 20 June May @ 18.00 WAT. Next week’s chart
will be revealed on Friday 21 June on NTA @ 23.30 WAT.
