It will be two fully packed days featuring over 25 designers from across Nigeria whom are either currently students or recently graduated, but it does not stop there as we have had enormous interest from very established designers who want to showcase to students whom are a very important market
to designers that wish to grow their business.
All NSFDW designers will be given an opportunity to showcase for FREE at Africa Fashion Week Nigeria in October while the three top designers from the evening shows will get a chance to showcase their designs at the Africa Fashion Week London, Fashions Finest London Fashion Week Show and Just Fashion UK this August in England.
NSFDW is one of the most sought after events to attend and prominent personalities from across Nigeria are queuing up to request tickets to attend the event, including the likes of Deola Sagoe; Nigeria's foremost celebrity designer, Mrs Joan Okorodudu; the founder of Nigeria's Next Super Model, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija; top business icon in Nigeria, Ayotunde Fabamwo; founder of Mr Ideal Nigeria and co-founder of Just Fashion Uk, FADAN executives, Asake Oge and Mrs Oprah Benson. Not forgetting Lucky Favour the winner of Nigeria's Next Super Model who is the 2013 Ambassador
of Nigerian Student Fashion and Design Week who will be walking on the runway.
On the gala night there will be performances by Eva, Kcee,Ayo of Project Fame, Kheny and EmmaOhmyGod of Wazobia FM will be entertaining the crowd. The event will be hosted by Larry Foreman and Dupsy of Unilag FM and the Red Carpet will be hosted by Yemi Obamedo of Spice TV and Moyo of Hitz TV.
This is the event of the year and an event not to be missed, these young entrepreneurs need the support of everyone as they showcase their various creativity to the world through the various online and print media houses that will be attending.
Gate opens at 3pm on Friday and from 12pm on Saturday for the exhibition and fashion shows will showcase throughout the day and evening on both days. So be sure to come with a fat purse and get products at a low discounted price. NSFDW has an ethos that it wants to promote and support young up and coming designers and is aware that students are finding it tough financially and as such NSFDW has made the decision that the event would be totally FREE and tickets are only available at <http://www.nsfdw.eventbrite.
