During an interview with Koga TV, Iyanya speaks on his current
relationship with producer D-Tunes who produced his breakout single
'Kukere' and majority of his second album Iyanya Vs. Desire. Despite
the rumours in the tabloids he says that he and D'Tunes are still
friends. "We are very very cool" said Iyanya. He also revealed that his
next project features production from D'Tunes. "As a matter of fact, my
new project D'Tunes is still on it. I realize that people rejoice over
two people being apart than when they are together" he further said.
In the interview Iyanya revealed what he told D'Tunes when they first
worked together. "I don't know you. but we are going to make history"
said Iyanya to D'Tunes during their first studio session when they made
the smash hit single 'Kukere'.
A few months ago, the news hit the street that D'Tunes was no longer working with the Made Men Music Group
co-owned by Iyanya. The MTN Project Fame winner says that he isn't
annoyed at D'Tunes' decision and says he understands his ambition and
dream.
Producer D'Tunes has since floated his label Difference Entertainment and
has signed singer Sean Tizzle to his new imprint. Already the D'Tunes
produced single 'Sho Lee' by Sean Tizzle is already a hit single.
