Fast rising artiste, Burna Boy, who is known for his unique music and has gained the love of fans around Nigeria will co host this week’s Official Naija Top 10 countdown with MTV VJ, Ehis (@SpecialSlim). With his monster video, Run My Race gaining the number 4 spot on the charts, Burna Boy will run through the week’s charts as well as talk about the movers and shakers in the Nigerian music industry.

On this week’s episode, PSquare remains top of the charts with their hit video, Personally with Chidinma following closely at number 2 with the stunning video, E Mi Ni Baller featuring label mates Tha Suspect and Illbliss, and shot and directed by Clarence Peters in the UK.

D’Banj is inching ever higher up the chart, now holding number 3 position with Don’t Tell Me Nonsense.

Last week’s studio guest, DJ Xclusive, continues to impress, rising one place to number 6 thanks to No TimeTimaya is also showing some slow progressmoving up one place to number 8 with Ekoloma Demba

Former number one Wande Coal’s The Kick continues its slow decline but still manages to make waves at number 5.  Other artists on the way down include Flavour whose Chinny Baby falls to number 9, while VIP by Ice Prince drops down to number 7.  2Face’sRainbow is still hanging in there valiantly, resting at number 10 for the second week running. 

Every week, the Official Naija Top 10 powered by Star Music is put together by an elite panel of judges comprising Nigerian broadcasters, music specialists and tastemakers, working with MTV Base to pick the winners and losers in the week’s chart. On the panel are Onos Ovueraye (Bella Humility (Rhythm FM), DJ Jimmy JattDJ Xclusive (Cool FM)Big Time(Rhythm FM), DJ Caise (The Beat FM), Toolz (The Beat FM) and Osagie Alonge (Nigerian Entertainment Today).
